Chichibugahama in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, is a 1km-long beach that attracts many tourists every summer. It has gained popularity on social media for the mirror-like effect that can be captured during low tide at sunset, similar to Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni.

The most stunning photos can be captured approximately 30 minutes before and after sunset on windless days, and during periods when the sunset coincides with low tide.

This location becomes an ordinary sandy beach unless specific conditions are met, including low tide, dusk, clear weather, and no wind. Therefore, those traveling from far away are recommended to check the weather and wind conditions thoroughly before visiting.
