1.Basic Information

Oosugidani is a beautiful canyon located in Mie Prefecture, Japan. The emerald-green river and magnificent waterfalls are its main attractions. This area is considered one of Japan’s three great canyons, featuring a trekking course that stretches approximately 14 kilometers and has an elevation difference of 1,200 meters. However, the area is not just beautiful; it is also fraught with danger. Every year, accidents occur due to slipping, making it unsuitable for beginners.

Doukura Falls (Doukurataki)

Located in Oosugidani, Doukura Falls has a drop of approximately 18 meters and is characterized by its emerald-green, beautiful water. The waterfall has a high water volume, and the plunge pool is very deep. Especially in the summer, the cool water serves as a resting place for people.

Introduction to hot pot dishes using meat from all over Japan
Japanese hot pot cuisine is a dish where various ingredients are simmered in a broth. The broth, made from kelp and bonito flakes, is flavored with soy sauce or miso. Yakiniku is a dish where meat and vegetables are grilled on a wire mesh over charcoal or gas. 5.Map Information

Mie Prefecture is located in the central part of Japan and has a long shape stretching from south to north. The region has both mountains and long coastlines, resulting in a wide range of climates depending on the area. The southern part, in particular, is frequently hit by typhoons and has very high precipitation.
